Gail White Jones, age 67, of Rodessa, Louisiana went to be with the Lord Monday, April 17, 2017 in a Dallas, Texas hospital.

Gail was born November 20, 1949 in Atlanta, Texas to Calvin and Owana White. She was a homemaker, private sitter and a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church, Ida, Louisiana. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bobby Jones, Jr.; and a grandson, Charlie Jones, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Jones of Rodessa, Louisiana; son, Charles Jones and wife Kay of Bloomburg, Texas; daughter, Melinda Miller and husband Luke of Gilmer, Texas; three brothers, Doyle White and friend Pat Grogan of Atlanta, Texas, Dennis White and wife Cynthia of Doddridge, Arkansas, Bryan White and wife Mary of Queen City, Texas; sister, Janet Daniel and husband Jessie of Atlanta, Texas; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dale Wooten officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Enon Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about Barbara Gail. Been almost 50 years since we graduated together. She was always a very kind person. Prayers for the families.

I'm so heartbroken to learn of Gails passing. Just know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Gail was just like a sister to all of us Terry Girls.
