Edwin “Ed” Sartor age 69, of Bloomburg, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his residence.

Ed was born January 2, 1948 in Kermit, Texas to E.A. and Lillie Sartor. He was a self-employed Lease Operator in the Oil and Gas industry and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Vivian, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Troy Sartor and wife Donna of Queen City, Texas; brother, Bobby Sartor and wife Shirley of Longview, Texas; sister, Louise Mitchell of Atlanta, Texas; two grandsons, Cody Sartor and wife Sabrina of McLeod, Texas, Ethan Sartor and wife Christina of Queen City, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Private services will be scheduled at a later date.

Those wishing to memorialize Ed may make contributions to Hospice of Texarkana or to Angel Homecare of Northeast Texas.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
